Action & Reaction is a driving, rhythmic duet that explores the process of entropy. An initial burst of energy in the main motif gradually transforms into something meditative and soft. Small outbursts of growth in the slower sections fail to regain the momentum of the opening passage, and the piece slowly recedes into nothing, fading into the distance.
