Three Recitations is an exploration of grief inspired by the works of painter Francis Bacon. In this piece the composer explores the sense of claustrophobia and surrealism found in Bacon's art through shifting and unpredictable electronic elements and a fragmented recitation of Peter Dale Scott's poem "Dream."
